AISA receives funding from many bodies or partners to deliver a range of cyber security programs to enhance education, training and protection in Australia.

NSW Cyber Business Exchange May 2022 – Jan 2025

The NSW Cyber Business Exchange was a Government funded program by Investment NSW, and delivered in partnership with AISA. Launched in May 2022, the program connected cyber businesses with industry sectors, peak bodies, associations, and government, fostering collaboration and engagement.  It successfully enhanced cyber knowledge and created market opportunities and business generation for NSW Cyber Businesses.

Industry support initiatives included networking events, focus groups, ‘meet an expert’ roundtables, a mentoring program, and sector-specific focus groups in defence, aerospace, health and medical, and agriculture. Concluding on 31 January 2025, the program achieved significant successes, enabling cyber businesses to grow and expand as a direct result of its outcomes.

Program Impact:

  • 74 event days engaged 2,223 cyber business professionals
  •  3,422 facilitated meetings led to 4,012 business matches
  •  2,307 qualified leads generated tangible market opportunities
  • 93% satisfaction rate, with ratings of excellent or good
  • 28,503 potential connections established through program activities

These achievements translated into measurable business growth—new partnerships formed, market opportunities seized, and cyber capabilities strengthened. Each interaction contributed to the expansion of the cyber business ecosystem.
