Students with a higher qualification may still be eligible for the Victorian Training Guarantee (VTG) Funding.

This hands-on qualification will allow participants to gain practical knowledge in the following areas:

  • Communications Skills
  • Working with Teams
  • Basic Networking
  • System Testing

  • Programming Security Scripts
  • Website Security
  • Network Security
  • Managing System Security

Trainees would be required to undertake a 4 week intensive training at the Institute which would then drop to 4 days per week at work and 1 day per week training at the Institute. When at work, trainees would need to be supervised by an experienced IT professional in conjunction a member of the Institute's IT and Security teaching team.
