AISA Webinar: How to create a Cyber Security Education and Awareness Program to change behaviour

Hosted by the AISA Cloud Branch, please join Jacqueline Jayne (Aka JJ), who is the Security Awareness Advocate APAC at KnowBe4, for an online presentation on how to create a Cyber Security Education and Awareness Program.

Topic: How to create a Cyber Security Education and Awareness Program to change behaviour
Why can’t we train people on cybersecurity once a year?  Great question.  The answer has a lot to do with how we humans learn and what's required to influence and change behaviours which does takes some time and effort.  Rome wasn’t built in a day!  The knowledge and awareness required in cybersecurity these days is vast and new threats appear almost daily.

Human error accounts for the majority of successful cyber attacks. There is a need to make cybersecurity personal to everyone for any real change to occur and for a culture of cybersecurity to develop.

What you are embarking on is a whole organisation change management program that results in everyone making better decisions when it comes to security, ensuring all regulatory and compliance elements are achieved, the risk is reduced, your people are a formidable human firewall, and a culture of security is created.

In this session, JJ will discuss the following:

  • How the security stack has developed
  • The elephant in the room - human error
  • Why training and awareness are no longer enough
  • The three steps (and all the details) you need to know

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of the speaker. This session will be recorded and the recording will be made available to all registrants.
