AISA Sydney Branch Virtual Social Lunch Meeting
Do you miss networking with colleagues? Every year around this time the Sydney Branch Committee organises a social get together for its members. This year the Committee has been working on a COVID-safe way to hold its annual social event for members. 

Join us for jam-packed line up being held as an online Zoom meeting on Tuesday 27 October at 12pm (AEDT) which includes the following:

  • An engaging presentation from US based speaker, Jeff Aboud on How to evolve to Risk-Based Vulnerability Management;
  • A lively panel discussion on What's all the hype about automation and is it threating our jobs? with panellists Aaron Eisler, Telstra; Aatef Khayat, Dragonfly and Alvin Rodriguez, Infoblox;
  • The opportunity to see each other; breakout into chat rooms and network with other peers;
  • AND you also have the chance to win an UberEats voucher valued at $25 with which you can enjoy while at the lunch meeting!


We are giving away $25 UberEats vouchers to the first 200 NSW AISA financial members who register. These will be issued on a first come, first served basis and are courtesy of our generous sponsors Tenable, Infoblox and Dragonfly Technologies.

Please note that the format of this event is a Zoom meeting which will allow all attendees to see each other (if video function activated), but all participants will be muted to allow only the presenters to speak. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions after the presentations, AND chat and network with other AISA members online. An email with the link to join the meeting will be issued at least 24 hours prior to the session. UberEats voucher will also be issued in the same manner.

Jeff Aboud, Tenable

Jeff Aboud has been in the security industry for nearly 15 years. Working for some of the best-known companies in the industry, Jeff has experience up and down the security stack – from client-side scanning and perimeter security solutions, to encryption technologies. At Tenable, he runs the security solutions team. He works with technical and research teams to understand the pros and cons of the wide range of vulnerability risk management methods utilised in organisations of all sizes, and then translates the results into advice and guidance for SecOps and IT teams in top-performing enterprises.

Aaron Eisler, Telstra
Head of Automation for Telstra Purple is responsible for the strategic direction and growth of automation platforms and services for Telstra. Aaron joined Telstra in June 2015 and has worked with some Australia's most well-known brands and organisations.  Starting in the Cisco TAC 20 years ago, Aaron has had a distinguished career in the ICT & Security industry working in emerging technology adoption. Aaron's been on the forefront of automating and implementing commercial applications on a global scale and been key to delivering long term strategic initiatives within Telstra’s enterprise customers.

Aatef Khayat, Dragonfly

As the former Chief Technology Officer of Optus Business, Aatef understands the challenges faced by technology leaders in Enterprise.
With over 15 years experience working with C-level Executives on thought leadership, digital strategies and digital transformation, Aatef is well placed to provide organisations with guidance on their technology future.
