AISA's Brisbane Branch has over a hundred members and holds 10 meetings a year, mostly held at BDO, Level 10, 12 Creek St, Brisbane. We also hold occasional breakfast meetings in various locations.
Branch Meetings provide members with a wide variety of speakers and meeting formats including presentations, debates, panel discussions and international speakers.
The local chapter actively encourages participation in the AISA Focus Groups and supports the AISA CISSP Study Groups. In fact the chair of the Forensics Focus Group is a Brisbane member.

About the Brisbane Branch
AISA Brisbane welcomes membership from all people interested in and/or working in the information security industry. The Brisbane branch also supports AISA’s commitment to diversity.
AISA members in Brisbane represent a diverse range of careers, backgrounds, and skill sets, from security practitioners, system architects, to consultants and executive management in both private and public sector organisations.
AISA Brisbane supports the development of its members and invites a mixture of local members, local industry representatives, and national speakers to present at branch meetings and at the Brisbane Security day, BrisSEC.
It is an exciting time for AISA as we all work towards the AISA Strategy towards 2020 and the Brisbane Branch embraces and supports the opportunities created by this strategy.
The Brisbane Branch is continuing to develop and implement the strategies and goals of AISA as a whole, and as such welcomes feedback from members. We encourage all members to speak directly to the Branch Executive and other committee members, face to face, by phone, or via the email address Brisbane@aisa.org.au. Please send us your ideas, feedback, white papers, offers to present and offers to assist the branch.
