Providing Opportunity and Building a Safer Nation

AISA has established the AISA Foundation Scholarship Fund as part of its activities As an independent not-for-profit charity regulated by the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).

This fund has been endorsed as a deductible gift recipient (DGR) which means that donations to the fund are tax deductible in Australia. The fund will to provide scholarships to increase the number of women, Indigenous Australians and those from disadvantaged backgrounds to build a career in cyber security.

100% of all donations received go directly to scholarships.

AISA is delighted to be able to accept public donations and provide fully tax deductible receipts, as well as dispense scholarships across Australia.  This fund is integral to bringing greater diversity to the cyber security sector and positively change the lives of disadvantaged families and communities.  AISA has already pledged $100k to begin this fund and is committed to topping it up annually.

Individuals or businesses that would like to give back to the community can contribute to this charitable fund to help expand the number of scholarship recipients.

Scholarship applications are open to individuals who are Australian citizens and are any of the following:
1. women
2. Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Australians
3. disadvantaged

An AISA Foundation Scholarship Fund Committee provides  assessments of the applications of eligible scholarship candidates. The Fund disperses the necessary funds when finalists are confirmed.
