Micro Segmentation

Topic Overview: Micro Segmentation technology is used to segregate networks based on the user’s identity and not by firewall or VLAN. This is a great way to segregate networks to isolate critical infrastructure and asset from potential threats. The technology will eliminate lateral movement of threats/attackers within networks. Gartner has also identified micro segmentation and flow visibility as one of the top 10 security technologies for 2016. You can find the full list from the link below:
