Join us as Dave Jarvis takes us through a case study of a recent cyber attack.
Topic 1: Profile of a Cyber Attack

Dave Jarvis is presenting an actual, recent case study of a cyber attack, with some names changed for anonymity. He charts the steps for the building and execution of the attack, and the steps that they took to counter and remediate.

Speaker 1: Dave Jarvis

David is the National Practice Lead for Cyber Security at UXC Saltbush which is a CSC company, based in Canberra.  He manages services in Cyber Security for major Federal Government Agencies including Industry, ATO, DHS, Immigration, Defence, ASD and Health.  He specialises in Penetration Testing, Threat and Intelligence reporting, Cyber Security Training (including IRAP Training), and Certification and Compliance services to standards such as the ISM and ISO27001.  He was the first IT System Security Specialist in Australia who was accredited to undertake ISO/IEC 27001 certification audits recognised by the Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand (JAS-ANZ).  Prior to his career in Cyber Security, David was a commissioned officer in the Royal Australian Navy.
