Topic: Red Hat's Incident Detection Strategy
Join us at the Hobart Branch for the first face-to-face meeting after Covid-19 restrictions for a live and interactive presentation on Red Hat's Incident Detection Strategy with guest speaker Doug Brown who is the Principal Information Security Analyst at Red Hat.

Most organisations have IDS on the network, EDR on the endpoints, AD logs and a SIEM to triage alerts from them. At Red Hat we have those things too, but our approach is probably unlike anything you've ever seen! We challenge the traditional operational security paradigm most people are comfortable with; but you know what they say, proof of the pudding is in the eating!

Join us to explore and learn more about Red Hat’s non-traditional approach to an incident response plan and strategy

Speaker: Douglas Brown, Red Hat
Doug Brown from Hobart heads up detection at Red Hat as a Principal Information Security Analyst

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of the speaker at the end of the presentation.

Light refreshments and drinks will be served at the end of the presentation.
