Topic: Passion leading to a cyber security career
Hosted by the AISA Darwin Branch, please join Sharon Sharmini Sebastin, for an online presentation on how personal qualities such as motivation and passion can assist you in starting or growing your cyber security career.

When it comes to choosing cyber security as a career path, a common misconception is that you must be from a strong technical background. While having technical background is helpful, a successful career in the security space does not depend on it.

Sharon will share her experience coming from a contact centre background and how she built her career in cyber security auditing. She believes that a cyber security career is appealing as there are always new challenges, solving complex problems and helping each other succeed. She is currently the chapter lead for SheLeadsTech ISACA Malaysia Chapter and she empowers more women to join the technical workforce. Join her to know her experiences and take it as a motivation to grow your career in cyber security!

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions. This webinar will be recorded and the recording will be made available to registrants.
