Overcoming barriers to Indigenous diversity and inclusion in ICT security in Australia

Phillip Jenkinson will be speaking at Australian Cyber Conference this year on the 8-9 October, in Melbourne and wishes to give the Brisbane AISA members a preview of his presentation on how we can overcome barriers faced in the cyber security industry when it comes to Indigenous inclusion.

Growing up on a sheep and cattle property outside of Bathurst NSW, Phillip has been a serving member of the Australian Defence Force, donates a significant amount of his personal time to charities, is the non- executive director of the (ISC)2 Chapter, Queensland and is a proud and passionate supporter of increased Indigenous inclusion within our sector.

Phillip is the CEO and Co-founder of Baidam Solutions and is working hard to close the gap of Indigenous representation in the ICT Security sector.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of the speaker at the end of the presentation.

Light refreshments will be served before the presentation.
