In this month’s presentation, Tom Zorde will talk through the journey of starting the Internet of Everything community. He will explain what Internet of Things is and how it will transform business and our lives, the challenges that will be presented for cyber security, why it is important for community be the primary driver in the IoT Ecosystem and the positive outcomes for Western Australia
Tom will also give an update on the Perth IoT Communication Network project piotcn.org and explain how a this opens up new opportunities to future proof yourself and your community and how the security community can get involved.

Tom heads up the Perth Internet of Everything community, a forum to drive education and opportunities for emerging technologies including Internet of Things and Predictive Analytics. Tom has taken this one step further as Founder of the Perth Internet of Things Communications Network. A data network to be developed for the community and run by the community to further drive education, innovation and enablement.
