Overview: CIVSEC 2016 is an international forum and industry exhibition dealing with civil security in the preservation of sovereignty, the protection of people and the safety of communities.

CivSec's conference and seminar program will address complex challenges such as control of borders, prevention of terrorism, protection of people and communities, organised crime, security of infrastructure and resources, information and cyber security, provision of emergency services, response to disasters, biosecurity, coordination of humanitarian relief and crisis management. It will also address the vital importance of multi-agency and multi-national liaison and cooperation.
