DIF2020 Opening Event
The Digital Innovation Festival (DIF), is a unique initiative to develop, demonstrate and promote technology innovation across every sector of the economy and society. DIF2020 Festival runs over two weeks from 21 August to 4 September. The #DIF2020 offers something for everyone from exploring emerging tech to learning about jobs of the future or how digital inclusion can make a difference for communities.

As an event partner of the DIF2020, AISA is delighted to be involved in the official opening of the Festival with an online webinar on the importance of password selection and live demonstration, with guest speaker Dr Jay Jeong, which is FREE to members, their colleagues and guests.

Creating strong passwords has just been announced as one of the key pillars of the Commonwealth Governments Cyber Security Strategy 2020. Although many of us understand the importance of passwords, research suggests that poor password practices are widespread within the general population.

In this session, we will explore the research and statistics surrounding passwords, and provide a live interactive session on whether your passwords are exposed. We then share some simple to follow rules to protect yourself online through better password management and application of Multi-Factor Authentication.

Participants will have the opportunity at the end of the session to ask questions of the speaker via the Q&A Chat box.
