Brisbane 15th February: Reflections from implementing a new identity platform

Brisbane Branch Meeting 15th February
Georgina Crundell from EY is sharing with us "Reflections from implementing a new identity platform"

Reflections from implementing a new identity platform

In Georgina's role as the CISO of a well-known financial services institution, she had ultimate responsibility for the consolidation of thousands of user identities, and the implementation of a single platform to manage users. This project had significant complications due to outsourced providers, previous identity hygiene and a strict budget.

Speaker: Georgina Crundell
Georgina has a career in security spanning over 20 years – starting as a graduate intern in Kimberly-Clark performing SAP access administration, then installing firewalls. She moved into security consulting whilst living in London. A move to Australia was the start of her career with financial services – working at ANZ then back to consulting, and in 2013 moving to sunny Queensland for BOQ. In December 2016 she has taken up the role as a Cyber Security Partner at EY.
