This session will cover the Infosec Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) and what an IRAP assessment is - from an IRAP Assessor. The Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Essential Eight and Essential Eight Assessments.
The Department of Home Affairs Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and how it relates to State and territory government agencies that hold or access Australian Government sensitive and security classified information
Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of the speakers and light refreshments will be served after the presentation.
Speaker:
Brian Meilak has spent the last 23 years consulting in Canberra, predominantly with the Department of Defence, Home Affairs and Telstra, working in the gateway, network and cyber security space. Brian has recently moved to Hobart to be closer to family.
