 Topic: Cyber and Infrastructure Security Centre - Driving an all hazards regime in partnership with government and industry, to protect Australia's Critical Infrastructure
This session will provide an overview of the Australian Government's critical infrastructure reform covered under the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018. It will provide details on the sectors and asset classes that are impacted, positive security obligations, government assistance measures and systems of national significance.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of the speaker and networking drink and light refreshments will be served after the presentation.

Speaker:

Kath Forward is the Assistant Director of the Cyber and Infrastructure Security Centre Outreach network based in Western Australia at the Department of Home Affairs. Leveraging her 22 years in the Australian Public Service, Kath provides insight on the recent Critical Infrastructure reforms assisting owners, operators and their supply chain in risk and regulations for the shared benefit of all Australians.
