The theme of #BrisSEC17 is 'Ubiquitous Security', with the event delivered in management and technical focus streams, ensuring great content for all to enjoy.
We operate in a world where there is a big push to digitise every thing. We live in a new era where people, data and 'things' are more connected than ever. We will see up to 50 billion 'things' connected by 2020, with 100 billion connected by 2025.
This will transform the way we work, live and play. The complexity of these connections make it difficult to adequately secure data, especially in the face of threats from cyber criminal and hacktivists. The answer to this connected future is an approach where security is ubiquitous.
BrisSEC17 is AISA's annual Brisbane security day. A day for security practitioners, thought leaders and business executives to gather to discuss the opportunities and challenges of a ubiquitous approach to security.
