Finishes: Tuesday 23 March 2010, 7:30PM
Venue: Westpac, 60 Martin Place, Plaza
Level (Ground Floor) Meeting Centre
Topic: Identity and Security in the Cloud - The
objective of this meeting is to provide members with an
overview of identity, security and compliance issues when
considering cloud based services.
Members will be provided with an overview of "Security in the
cloud". We are delighted to have Bret Hartman, CTO RSA present this
topic. Bret has co-authored two white papers with VMWare and EMC
around this subject - "Security Compliance in a Virtual World" and
"Identity and Data Protection in the Cloud". Following this, we are
pleased to have Glenn Gore, CTO MelbourneIT share with AISA members
his experiences in making 'The Cloud" work on the ground. This is a
key area of interest for AISA members so we are extremely fortunate
to have the CTO's from RSA and MelbourneIT, Australia's largest
hosted service provider.
Speakers: Bret Hartman, CTO, RSA and Glenn
