This presentation will look at the extent of modern digital
evidence using cases that Ashley has worked on as examples. Ashley
will dispel some of the myths about digital forensics, and look at
what might be the challenges faced in the future. Ashley will draw
upon insights he gained from the recent HTCIA conference in Hong
Kong.
Speaker: Ashley Stevens-Hoare - Queensland
Police Service
Ashley works as a specialist in the Forensic Computer
Examination Unit of the Queensland Police Service. He has conducted
examinations for over 250 investigations and given evidence in a
range of court cases.
Ashley is certified as a "Computer Hacking Forensic
Investigator", "Electronic Evidence Collection Specialist" and a
"Certified Computer Forensic Examiner".
