Structure
AISA is a not-for-profit association governed by a team of
volunteers. We are incorporated in New South Wales and our
Australian Business Number (ABN) is 18171935959.
AISA is also governed by a set of bylaws, called AISA Rules which are
the rules and practices that govern management of the
association.
AISA is regulated by the Associations Incorporation Act 2009 and
Associations Incorporation Regulation 2010.
The Executive Committee controls and
manages the affairs of AISA. The Executive Committee
comprises the following member elected office bearing
positions:
- National Director
- Deputy National Director
- Membership Director
- Secretary
- Treasurer
The following ordinary members also serve on the Executive
Committee:
- National Events Director
- Branch Representative
Each branch has a member elected Branch
Executive who is primarily responsible for organising Branch
meetings and activities with the assistance of their Local Branch
Committee.

Allison Muir - Administration Manager
Allison Muir has worked in Information Security since 1998, and
prior to that worked in a variety of IT roles and as a volunteer
teacher in rural Kenya for seven years. She is one of the founding
members of AISA and has always been actively involved in its
activities. Her many voluntary roles with AISA have included
serving on the Code of Ethics Working Group in 2002-2004 and as the
Sydney Branch Executive in 2005-2006. She has been the AISA
Administration Manager from 2004.
